I keep hearing about Change.org, a social networking turn-key for nonprofits. I'm not sure if they allow sectarian organizations or not; certainly, the first few pages of participating orgs seem to be left-of-center (which isn't a problem per se, though it may indicate a reluctance to partner with certain types of orgs, including ours).
My initial thought is that I'd rather be where most people are, especially since I see social networking as a tool for ongoing advocacy and recruiting advocates/identifiers. And "where most people are" doesn't appear to be change.org. That's Facebook and MySpace.
Though perhaps I'm missing something. I'd welcome other thoughts.
