Segmenting people from Mars and Venus

Here is an interesting Sitebrand article that could help us further define our LCS. This could eventually lead to further segmenting on many different basis including ethnicity, language and much more. Here is the article:

It's well known that men and women see things differently... and the web is no exception. According to one study by the University of Glamorgan in the UK, gender differences in website preferences cross all borders, and the implications affect websites globally:

* Males tend to prefer:
* Straight, horizontal lines
* Dark typefaces and backgrounds
* Images, especially 3D images
* Formal, expert language
* Sites designed by men

* Females tend to prefer:
* Rounded forms, lines
* More colorful typefaces and backgrounds
* Informal vs posed images
* Interaction via email, chat groups, instant messaging
* Sites designed by women

interestingly, we have a male-skewed donor base, which is fairly unique. it would be interesting to understand how, as we segment, ea segment skews and what vehicles they prefer, to perhaps build in some of this, then, into their preferred vehicles.
